TrinityKids Care | Layla’s Story
Created for TrinityKids Care, California’s only dedicated pediatric hospice program, this film followed the story of a young girl in her final days, capturing her courage, her family’s love, and the quiet beauty of a life well-lived. It looked at loss with honesty and grace, showing that even the shortest lives can leave a lasting mark. The music, donated by Florence + The Machine, marked the first time the artist had ever granted the use of their work for a project of this kind, a gesture that gave the film its heartbeat. The piece was later recognized by Ed Sheeran and embraced by artists and families who saw in it not sadness, but a reflection of love, courage, and the beauty of connection.
