Filmed across the coastlines of Italy, the film follows artist and surfer Chris Del Moro on a journey home, exploring heritage, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of meaning beyond the waves. Brought to life from concept to global release, the film achieved worldwide distribution with Lionsgate Entertainment, premiered on Netflix, and was later featured on Red Bull Media.

Beyond the screen, Bella Vita evolved into a full cultural experience, with wine made from grapes harvested during filming (distributed in Whole Foods and served in restaurants across the country), limited-edition books and collector sets by Quiksilver, and board shorts featured in the film by Birdwell, inspired by its visual identity.
